The camp will teach you how to improve your play, transition skills from game to game, and maintain a healthy lifestyle while being a competitive gamer. We will be learning about: the past, present, and possible future of esports including both the Collegiate and Professional scene, and Domestic and International. We will cover different career paths in eSports as well as becoming a pro gamer. All equipment is provided. Just bring your love for gaming and drive to improve yourself! No prior experience to any one game in particular is required, but the camp is focused on PC gaming.
8am-3pm each day
Lunch is provided daily.
Location: eSports Lounge located in the Wick Campus Center
Games that will be covered include: League of Legends, Hearthstone, Overwatch, Rocket League, Valorant, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros.
Scheduled Activities include:
1. Healthy Lifestyle-Balancing eSports with life, nutrition, exercise, posture/ergonomics.
2. VOD/Replay Review-Camper/player matches, professional matches.
3. Game and PC Settings-Mouse sensitivity/acceleration, key bindings, and graphic settings/resolution.
4. Careers in eSports-Caster, Streamer, eSports Personality, player, Coach, Analyst, Scout, Management, Tournament Organizer, Journalist.
5. eSports History/Trivia
