Audrey YokopovichMy name is Audrey Yokopovich and I graduated from the MSAT program from Daemen College in May 2020. I am currently a Seasonal Athletic Training Intern for the Kansas City Chiefs. During my time at Daemen, I had the opportunity to do a clinical rotation with the Buffalo Bills for the 2019 season. With that experience, I learned what it takes to work at a high level. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but the education and connections I gained were crucial in getting me to where I am now. Without that clinical rotation, I wouldn’t have this job in Kansas City and I would not have been prepared to work in the NFL. Before coming to Daemen, I didn’t have any background of Athletic Training except being an athlete myself. The DCAT Direct Entry Program prepped me well enough to pass the BOC on my first try and adapt to any clinical setting I might have been thrown into. I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime and learned from some of the greatest ATCs in Buffalo. Daemen College was the steppingstone I needed in order to achieve a few of my professional goals.
