The process is outlined in the Student Handbook along with many other policies regarding Student Activities and student organizations. The Student Association Senate meets every Tuesday when classes are in session, at 11:30 AM in Wick Center (room 113-115). These meetings are open to the campus community, and student organizations are required to have a representative attend a majority of these meetings.
Student Association executive board members (6 members) are voted into office by the student body in April. In September, the four class presidents are elected. Together this board makes up the ten member Student Association Senate.
There are several pianos on campus that are available for student use, and a couple reserved for special events.

- Wick Center Social Room: Baldwin SD10 concert grand piano
- Wick Center store closet: Korg digital piano
- RIC Atrium: Baldwin SF10 semi-concert grand piano (special events only)
- Curtis Hall: Steinway model M grand piano
- DS35 stage wing: Everett upright
- LeBrun Mansion: Steinway model S grand piano (special events; President's home)
Students are not permitted to drive the vans, however, your moderator may be authorized as a driver and the Student Affairs department Van Coordinator may be able to arrange availability of a van and trained driver to work with you. There is no cost to use the van, however, there is a cost to hiring the driver. Van priority is given to academic programs, service learning, athletics, and then to student activities needs.
Only Daemen College recognized student organizations (or administrative and academic departments) are permitted to fundraise on campus. Students are not permitted to reserve rooms on campus for private events, and/or do any kind of solicitation on campus without permission from the Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students.
