Housing & Dining Services Agreement
The Housing and Dining Services Agreement will be signed prior to room selection and is an agreement between the Housing & Residence Life Office and the student. If the student decides they will not live on campus for the upcoming year after May 1- there will a $500 fee assessed to the student bill if the student is let out of the Agreement
Recognizing that technology plays a crucial role in today’s student. Much of the housing process is done online. Once a student places their deposit, on May 1 they will receive via email a Roommate Preference Form. We ask the student complete this questionnaire online and submit to Residence Life to match students. Towards the end of June first-years will receive their housing placement via email.
Sophomore Year and Beyond
After a student's first-year, housing selection done by the student. In early February housing information is posted on social media, in the halls and distributed to students via campus email. Students must submit a $200 deposit to Student accounts by the set deadline in order to participate in the traditional room selection. Students who have deposited will receive an email with a lottery number and the best lottery number (lowest) will be the winner. Using the best lottery number, all groups will be assigned a ‘pick number’ in which students are able to pick an apartment on room selection night after they have arranged themselves in apartment groups of 4, 6 or apply to live off campus at Collegiate Village.
