Discover What’s Next: Navigating the Job Market

February 11 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. EST
Zoom Panel Discussion Virtual Event Via YouTube

The job market landscape seemed to change overnight in the early part of 2020. Job seekers suddenly had to deal with many unforeseen and unprecedented obstacles. Many people found themselves furloughed, unemployed, under-employed, or overwhelmed with work/life balance while attempting to navigate life during a pandemic. The last year has also changed the way companies and organizations are operating and conducting business, affecting both customers and their own employees.

From remote work to entire industries shutting down, the world and work as we once knew it has changed.

2021 brings us a renewed sense of optimism for the future. However, we’ve also recognized the need for job seekers to pivot from antiquated job search tactics to new ways of strategically navigating the road to their next position or career.

In the seventh installment of our virtual panel series, Daemen College will speak with a diverse group of experts about employment, the job search, and what job seekers can expect. They will share their most valuable tips, resources, and suggestions that job seekers can use to create a more strategic plan to improve their efforts in 2021.

Each of our panelists have a unique perspective from recruiting, career services, career coaching, and the manufacturing, non-for-profit and education sectors.  Our discussion will touch on topics such as resume writing and cover letters, LinkedIn use, networking, virtual interviewing, as well as branding yourself and looking to the future.

Join in live on the discussion and feel free to pose questions via chat to the panel.

Sponsored by graduate programs at Daemen College, listen in live and join our panelists as they share their outlook on what’s next for organizations and job seekers in navigating the new job market in 2021.
