“Career services helped me organize and strengthen my resume,” said Coran.  “They also helped me prepare for interviews and I used that knowledge to help me land the internship with the team.”

Coran explained that he was part of a team of interns that managed the game day experience.

“The internship team consisted of 25 students; we rotated jobs and experienced distinctive areas of the game day process,” said Coran. “I gained valuable experience in the press box, marketing, operations, and ticketing.”

Coran believes the internship provided him with knowledge that will be helpful in gaining a full-time position in sport management.

“Working for the team in so many different areas was incredible. I experienced the game day experience of a professional sports team and gained skills that I’ll use in the future,” said Coran.

Coran graduates in 2019 and plans to pursue a career in sport management.
