Why did you choose Daemen College?
I chose Daemen College because I wanted to be a part of a small community where I can get to know a lot of other students and my professors.
Why did you choose your present major?
I have always been interested in biology since I have been young. It wasn't until high school where I started to become more intrigued by the subject, and I realized I wanted to be a part of a movement that helped out animals all around the world.
Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College. (Ex: It is challenging, but I know it will prepare me for my career..etc)
So far at Daemen, my academic experience has been satisfactory. I enjoy all of my classes and the professors. Some of my classes are currently a bit difficult, however, I know it will be beneficial to me in the future.
Do you live on campus? Please tell us about your on campus experiences.
I live on campus, specifically in Canavan Hall. One time, half of my floor gathered in our floor lobby. We got to know each other, made Buffalo chicken dip, and had a good time. Your first dorming arrangements may seem displeasing, though once you get used to it you begin to have a good time and make some of your first new friends.
What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?
I am apart of the women's basketball team here on campus. We started playing and getting together since the first day of school. We show our support to Daemen athletics by showing up to sporting events, and performing volunteer work (like being the ball girls at soccer games). I know we are planning to help out with the organization Cause, also.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to attend a school down south to study marine biology. I wish to gain knowledge and travel around the world as a marine biologist.
