Why did you choose Daemen?
I chose to come to Daemen because of the warm and welcoming environment that you are surrounded by. Also, the smaller class sizes and student to teacher ratio is something I was looking for while choosing a school to attend and Daemen has just that.
In what ways are you involved on campus?
I am an Orientation Leader, a tour guide, in pre med club, and PASS (Physician Assistant Student Society).
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
Get involved around campus. There are always new events and organizations that anyone can join. This is a great way to make new connections with the people around you and allows you to have fun and a break from school work.
What excites you most about being a tour guide?
I am excited to show all the potential new students why our school is so great. Not only do I get to show people the beautiful campus but also the reason behind why our school is the right choice.
What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?
My most memorable moment on campus would have to be creating my friend group and making constant memories with them everyday. They truly help make every moment memorable at Daemen.
How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?
Daemen has taught me to open my eyes and to give everything a chance. I was definitely faced with many tough challenges and classes, but the help that is offered and the constant support around you enables you to overcome anything that might be in your way.
Who inspires you the most?
Out of everyone I have met in my life, my aunt inspires me the most. My aunt had stage 4 cancer but never failed to make the people around her smile. Even though she was the one going through the hard time, she made sure the people she loved were hopeful even when the odds were not the brightest. She never lost faith even in the very end of her life and loved everyone no matter what they came from. She taught me to do the same thing and for that reason she is the one I look up to the most.
