Panel Discussion Virtual Event Via YouTube
Are you exhausted? Isolated? Irritable? You might be experiencing burnout.
Herbert Freudenberger, a psychologist whose work focused on the understanding and treatment of stress, describes burnout as the consequences of severe stress and a condition that leads to severe physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. According to a study by Deloitte, nearly 91% of US workers reported being unable to cope with stress and 77% stated they’ve experienced burnout at least once in their career.
How do we prevent and manage burnout?
In the eighteenth installment of our virtual panel series, Daemen College will lead a conversation about preventative measures you can take to avoid burnout and cope with stress. You may be experiencing burnout and not realize it, but there are ways to address it in a healthy way.
Sponsored by graduate programs at Daemen College, listen in on this virtual event and join our panelists as they share best practices and stress management. We’ll talk about signals for stress and how you can find serenity during periods of burnout in your life.
Stress may be a part of our lives, but burnout can be prevented and managed.
