AMHERST, N.Y. -- Daemen College will honor Stuart Angert with its prestigious Community Excellence Award at the college’s annual Scholarship Gala on Sept. 20 at The Buffalo Club.
AMHERST, N.Y. – Daemen College will welcome more than 500 new students and their families and officially open the 2019-20 academic year at the college’s annual Convocation ceremony scheduled for 3 p.m. Aug. 31 in the Wick Campus Center Dining Room.
AMHERST, N.Y. -- Daemen College will host a site visit by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for continuing accreditation of the college’s baccalaureate nursing program (RN to BS program – includes 1+2+1 academic progression model) and the master’s/post-master’s certificate nursing programs. This is a concurrent visit with the New York State Education Department Office of the Professions for the purpose of re-registration and accreditation.

The event culminates with the ringing of the Founders Bell by Daemen community members including the President, faculty, student, alumni, and 47 bell ringers who represent our founding in 1947.
