AMHERST, N.Y. – Connecting college students with the physical therapy profession will be discussed by Daemen College graduate Brian Gallagher, who has more than 25 years of experience in the physical therapy field, at an on campus lecture scheduled for April 21.

 The lecture, “Bridging the Gap Between Students and Professional Physical Therapy Practice,” will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in Daemen’s Schenck Hall Room 107. It is free and open to college students, faculty, graduates, and professionals in the physical therapy field. A reception will immediately follow the lecture in Schenck Hall lobby.

Gallagher, who earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Daemen, is owner/president and founder of MEG Business Management, a physical therapy business coaching and billing company. Prior to this, he was owner/president of Cypress Creek Therapy, owner of Gateway Health Services, and served as clinical director at Henning and Cole Therapy.

A frequent presenter at American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) events, Gallagher has published numerous articles in APTA journals.
