Jan 12, 2016AMHERST, N.Y. -- KeyBank has made a $7,500 gift to Daemen College to support undergraduate scholarships awarded annually to three students.
The $2,500 scholarships funded by KeyBank are presented to a Daemen Honors Program student and two students in the Divisions of Arts and Sciences and Health and Human Services.
This year’s KeyBank Scholars are honors student Hannah Gullo of West Seneca, psychology major; and Amherst residents Amanda Smith, nursing major, and Morgan Stefanik, health care studies major.
Dr. Mimi Harris Steadman, associate vice president for institutional effectiveness, and Steve Chmielewski, grant administrator, accepted the gift at a check presentation made by Ron Sutton, senior vice president and trust officer at KeyBank.
“We greatly appreciate KeyBank’s generous support for this scholarship, which provides much needed financial assistance that enables students to achieve their goal of earning a college degree,” said Steadman.
