AMHERST, N.Y. – A free notary public test preparation class will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23 in Daemen College’s Business Building Room 101 located on campus at 4380 Main St. in Amherst.

Class participants will receive links to practice tests and test preparation material in advance of the session. Areas included in the notary public test, exam and licensing fees, and other test information will be reviewed in the class, which will be taught by Margaret Phillips, associate professor and director of paralegal studies. The notary public license is an additional credential that is beneficial for those working in the legal profession.

The class is being co-sponsored by the Daemen Business, Accounting, and Paralegal Studies Departments, and the Paralegal Club.
