An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skill development in a professional setting. Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths. Work Opportunity Tax Credit

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit incentive that the Congress provides to private-sector businesses for hiring individuals from nine target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment.

Online Recruitment Service through Handshake

Employers can create a Handshake account to post job and internship opportunities directly for students and alumni to view. Registered and approved organizations may also have the ability to search student and alumni resumes in Handshake. Posting position announcements and access to candidate resumes are FREE.
