Counseling Services is currently conducting sessions virtually, in the interest of the health and safety for students and counselors. Counselors remain available to support you at this time. If you are interested in services, please complete the inquiry form to be linked with a counselor. Please note, due to NYS licensing restrictions, teletherapy services can only be provided to students who are currently in NYS. For students outside of NYS, a counselor can offer a consultation to connect them with local resources in their community.

Your privacy and trust are important to us. All counseling sessions are confidential. Sessions are protected by state law and professional ethical standards. No information can be released without your written authorization. However, confidentiality is legally limited. Your counselor will speak with you about the limits of confidentiality when you first meet.
Counseling can help you develop an increased awareness of your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships. It can provide you with new skills and help you to recognize and utilize your personal strengths so you can make the changes needed to improve your overall well being.
