Why did you choose Daemen?
I chose Daemen because of the amazing physical therapy program that they have. It is a direct entry into the doctorate portion which a majority of other schools do not offer. I also chose Daemen because of the smaller class sizes, which allows me to better connect with professors, and the friendly staff on campus.
In what ways are you involved on campus?
Aside from being a tour guide, I am also an Orientation Leader, a part of the Athletics Work Study staff, and on the competitive cheer team.
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
Take it one day at a time. Coming to a new environment with people you have never met before can be a scary experience and initial thought. But if you take it one day at a time and not put too much pressure on yourself, you will succeed in every way possible.
What excites you most about being a tour guide?
What excites me the most is being able to connect with possible incoming students. I enjoy being an outlet that students feel comfortable confiding in and asking questions as I was once in their position.
What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?
My most memorable moment has been participating in the activities that Daemen offers such as rollerblading, donuts and coffee, carnivals and so much more. I love it so much because it gives me a chance to take a break from studying and hang out with friends, while making new ones.
How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?
Daemen has make me much more outgoing and more willing to try new things. I am very grateful for all of the opportunities that have been provided for me.
Who inspires you the most?
My mom and my dad inspire me the most. They have both gone through trials in their life that have been difficult to overcome, but they have gotten through it and grown as individuals. They push me everyday and support me in whatever I do.
