Why did you choose Daemen?

The first time I visited campus I felt very welcomed by the faculty, staff, advisors, and students. I found the small student to faculty ratio created a great learning environment where I would feel supported in my future years at Daemen. I also chose Daemen because of the PT program. It has an excellent reputation and I knew I would be successful here.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

At Daemen I'm apart of the SPTA (Student Physical Therapy Association) as the Pre-Professional Liaison, Business Club, Tour Guide, and Freshmen Orientation Leader.

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

The piece of advice I would give to prospective students is to be yourself and not be afraid to try new things. The first year at college is scary and intimidating. Everyone feels alone and confused at first, but putting yourself out there, attending events, and joining clubs makes the transition into college easier.

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

I'm excited to meet all of the prospective students and show them around our campus! The college search process is such an exciting and nerve-racking time in our lives, so it's our job to make it easier!

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

My most memorable moment at Daemen was Freshmen Orientation last summer. It was my first year becoming an OL and it was so much fun. I loved getting to see many of the students I gave tours and meeting all the new students. It really is an unbeatable experience and I'm excited to do it again this year!

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

Deciding to come to Daemen was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As a student I've been pushed out of my comfort zone both inside and outside of the classroom. This has allowed me to become a better student, join clubs and activities I'd never thought I would, and meet so many amazing people!

Who inspires you the most?

The person that inspires me the most is my mom. She is hard working and cares so much about everyone in her life. She pushes me to become the best I can be and is always there to support me along the way.
