Why did you choose Daemen University?

I chose Daemen University because of the unique atmosphere it offers as well as its accredited PA program. Daemen itself is a very tight-knit community, and it’s part of a much bigger community as well.

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose PA because of all of the opportunity it offers. The field itself is growing so much and being a part of this new PA community is something that I’m so honored to be a part of.

Please briefly describe your Scholar's Day.

Scholar’s Day was an amazing experience. I went in to it feeling confident and just wanting to broaden my connections and work on my interview skills. Scholar’s Day definitely set Daemen apart from other schools i applied to.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.

Choosing Daemen was 100% the best choice for me. I have not questioned my decision on Daemen once. The community is amazing and Daemen offers you it all. You get to make this experience yours and I am so happy with my decision.

What do you like best about Daemen?

I enjoy the location and the community Daemen provides. Daemen truly feels like a home away from home.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen University? What kinds of things do they do?

I am a thrower on the track and field team and being a part of the team has definitely been one of my favorite things about Daemen. It’s like a family, and I wouldn’t trade my team for anything.

Please describe any internship, study abroad, service learning or academic experience?

Of my academic career, one experience sticks out to me in particular, and that would be a trip I went on called Learn to Lead. Learn to lead is comprised of Mentors and Mentees. These pairs of people go on a trip and get to create a bond that not many people get to experience. We partook in strategy games, team-building activities , and ended each night with a campfire. The bonds I was able to create with this people over just 3 days are ones I will always cherish. Learn to Lead is one of the best things I’ve ever been a part of.

What is your favorite spot to stop by in town?

I love Gino’s pizza and Yotality!!

What piece of advice would you give to prospective students?

Choosing a college can be difficult, but the best advice I can give is to go with your gut. Picking a college is all about the right feel, and if that’s not there then it’s not for you.
