The All Access Pass program runs for the Amherst campus Fall and Spring semesters. More information will be sent to students about a month prior to the start of each semester. Look for an email containing information regarding your courses and required course materials.
What is the All Access Pass program?
All Access Pass is a textbook rental program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures students have their required course materials on the first day of class. The All Access Pass program allows the College’s Bookstore partner, Barnes & Noble College, to purchase materials for all courses in bulk, significantly reducing prices to students.
Students will be billed $25 per course credit ($75 per 3-credit course, $100 per 4-credit course) to their student account for required textbooks/codes.
Students who do not benefit financially from this arrangement have the right to opt-out of the program and purchase their textbooks individually.
How it works
Register for Classes
Upon registering for courses, you will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you've selected your courses, look for an email to confirm your course material selections.
Verify Your Order
About 30 days before the first day of classes you will receive a program announcement email with more information about the program.
Receive Your Textbooks
An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Blackboard.

Another email will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when your order has shipped. Digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Blackboard.
Daemen University will place the charges on your student bill. The cost of All Access Pass is $25 per credit hour.
The deadline to return all textbook rentals is the last day of finals. Students will receive
email reminders about the rental deadline to their email address.
Yes, the program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.
You will be charged the standard non-returned rental fee.
Yes, you will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.
You will receive an email with instructions to return your dropped course material(s) and a new link to use for ordering the material(s) for your added class.
You can opt out of the All Access Pass program at the start of each term through through Barnes & Noble. The deadline to opt-out is seven days after the term’s add/drop period ends. If you do decide to opt-out, please be sure you’re able to obtain all the materials necessary for you to be successful in your classes.
For Fall 2024 term, the opt-out window runs from August 5 - September 17.
For Spring 2025 term, the opt-out window should be December 22 - February 5.
